1. Introduction

At RISEN LTD., operating under the brand name RisenFX (“RisenFX,” “the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to providing clients with a transparent and controlled trading environment.

As part of our client protection framework, RisenFX provides Negative Balance Protection (“NBP”). This policy is designed to ensure that eligible clients cannot lose more than the funds they have deposited into their trading account.

Financial markets can move quickly, especially during periods of high volatility, low liquidity, news events, or market gaps. Negative Balance Protection helps protect clients from owing additional funds to RisenFX if extreme market conditions cause an account balance to fall below zero.

This policy reflects our commitment to fair trading conditions, responsible risk management, and clearly defined client exposure.

2. What Is Negative Balance Protection?

Negative Balance Protection is a safeguard that prevents an eligible client’s trading account from remaining below zero.

In certain market conditions, such as rapid price movements, slippage, liquidity shortages, or weekend gaps, losses may occur faster than positions can be closed. In rare cases, this may cause a trading account balance to become negative.

Where this policy applies, RisenFX will automatically adjust the negative account balance back to $0.00, meaning the client will not be required to pay RisenFX for losses exceeding the funds deposited into that trading account.

Negative Balance Protection does not prevent trading losses, margin calls, stop-outs, liquidation, or the loss of deposited funds. It only ensures that eligible clients are not liable for an account deficit below zero.

3. How It Works

If an eligible RisenFX trading account becomes negative due to market volatility, slippage, execution gaps, or other market-related conditions, RisenFX may automatically restore the account balance to $0.00.

This adjustment is intended to be processed by RisenFX’s internal systems or account review procedures. In most cases, no request or manual action is required from the client.

The negative balance adjustment is covered by RisenFX using company funds, allowing the client to continue using their account without being required to repay the negative deficit.

Once the account balance has been restored to zero, the client may deposit new funds and resume trading, subject to account status, verification requirements, platform availability, and all applicable RisenFX policies.

Negative Balance Protection is intended to protect clients from extraordinary account deficits caused by market conditions beyond their control.

4. Conditions and Eligibility

Negative Balance Protection applies to eligible retail clients trading with RISEN LTD. through RisenFX platforms and account types.

This protection may apply to trading instruments made available by RisenFX, including but not limited to:

Forex;

Commodities;

Indices;

Cryptocurrencies;

Other CFDs or leveraged products offered by RisenFX.

Negative Balance Protection is applied on a per-account basis. If a client holds multiple trading accounts, each account is reviewed separately and independently.

This policy does not eliminate the client’s responsibility to manage risk, monitor margin levels, use appropriate position sizing, and trade responsibly.

Clients remain responsible for all trading decisions, open positions, leverage usage, account activity, and risk exposure.

RisenFX reserves the right to review any negative balance before applying an adjustment, especially where abnormal activity, suspicious behavior, or policy violations are identified.

5. Exceptions and Limitations

RisenFX may refuse, delay, reverse, or withhold Negative Balance Protection where the Company determines that the negative balance resulted from abusive, fraudulent, manipulative, or prohibited conduct.

Exceptions may include, but are not limited to:

Fraudulent activity;

Misuse or abuse of leverage;

Intentional exploitation of market volatility;

Use of system errors, pricing delays, latency, or execution issues;

Manipulation through third-party software, APIs, Expert Advisors, bots, scripts, or trading algorithms;

Coordinated trading between multiple accounts;

Hedging or offsetting strategies designed to exploit account protection;

Bonus abuse or promotion abuse;

Artificial trading activity;

Violation of the Client Agreement, Fair Usage Policy, Anti-Fraud Policy, or any other RisenFX terms;

Any activity RisenFX reasonably determines to be abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with fair trading.

Where such activity is suspected or confirmed, RisenFX may investigate the account and take appropriate action, including adjusting balances, withholding withdrawals, removing bonuses, cancelling profits, restricting accounts, or terminating the client relationship.

RisenFX retains sole discretion to determine whether Negative Balance Protection applies in cases involving suspected abuse, manipulation, fraud, or breach of policy.

6. Why RisenFX Offers Negative Balance Protection

RisenFX offers Negative Balance Protection because we believe clients should have clearly defined risk exposure when trading leveraged products.

By resetting eligible negative balances to zero, RisenFX helps ensure that clients are not left owing additional funds due to extreme volatility or market gaps beyond their control.

This protection supports the core principles of the RisenFX trading environment:

Transparency: Clients should understand the maximum amount they can lose from their deposited funds.

Fairness: Clients should not be financially penalized beyond their account deposit due to extraordinary market events.

Protection: RisenFX absorbs eligible negative deficits using company funds so clients can continue trading without the burden of account debt.

Responsible Trading: Negative Balance Protection supports safer participation in leveraged markets, while still requiring clients to manage risk properly.

7. Client Responsibility

Negative Balance Protection should not be treated as a substitute for responsible trading.

Clients are expected to:

Understand the risks of leveraged trading;

Use appropriate position sizes;

Monitor account equity, margin, and open exposure;

Avoid excessive leverage;

Avoid reckless or gambling-style trading behavior;

Use stop-losses or other risk controls where appropriate;

Review all relevant RisenFX risk disclosures and policies before trading.

RisenFX does not guarantee that Negative Balance Protection will prevent losses, protect deposited funds, or preserve open positions. The policy only applies to eligible negative account balances after losses have occurred.

Continued access to or use of RisenFX services after an updated policy is published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
